Every year, New York's Museum of Modern Art shows a film fest of recent Brazilian imports. As always, music fans have a reason to take note; the big draw this year will be July 17 and 19 screenings of "Noitada de samba foco de resistencia". It documents the political foment at Teatro OpiniĆ£o over 13 years and 617 performances. Other features of interest include an unusual documentary on Santos Dumont as a proto-filmmaker.
